Business Problem: The People Ops team was frequently asked about the career progression and movement of employees from their entry-level positions. While they had anecdotal knowledge that many employees had transitioned or been promoted, there was no system in place to track this progression and movement across the organization using their HRIS.

How This Dashboard Helps: This dashboard offers valuable insights into internal movement, attrition, headcount, turnover trends, DE&I metrics, tenure, and management status for employees starting in specific roles. It enables the team to track the entire employee journey from entry-level roles to more senior positions.

Impact: The company can now track how employees progress from their starting roles, including which teams they move into and their typical tenure before the first transfer. These insights are invaluable for workforce planning, as they allow HR to better understand how this cohort compares to the broader organization in terms of demographics, tenure, and attrition rates. This data also helps recruiters by showcasing clear career progression, making it more attractive to candidates considering entry-level positions. Additionally, the organization has used this data to refine job descriptions and update the roles to reflect the career growth opportunities more accurately.
