SFTP Upload Server Information

PeopleInsight supports SFTP uploads. If you are interested in in setting up SFTP uploads, please contact your main PeopleInsight contact.

Protocol: SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)

Hostname: upload.yourpeopleinsight.com

Address: sftp://upload.yourpeopleinsight.com

Port: 22

Upload Path: /home/

Credentials: A username and password will be provided by the PeopleInsight team. Alternatively, if a key is provided to HireRoad, key-based SSH authentication can be used instead of password-based login. 

Once connected, a session will be established in the private Upload Path directory: /home/ That is the only folder accessible to the account, so data files can be uploaded there. For example, a file named data.txt can be uploaded to the path /home/data.txt on the SFTP server. This folder is monitored, and files uploaded there are moved to a storage server automatically. If you create a subdirectory, it and the files within will be ignored.
