This article provides a walkthrough of the steps that are needed to enable SSO (Single Sign-On). Please contact a PeopleInsight analyst if you are interested in enabling SSO.

Step 1: Provide us with the email address of the person at your company configuring SSO.

Please provide us with the email address of the person who will be configuring the SSO connection to PeopleInsight.  This will be used to create a temporary PeopleInsight account where you will be able to securely upload your Identity Provider’s Metadata XML for our use in configuring the SSO connection. You should have received your PeopleInsight account information earlier, let me know if you have any issues logging in.

 

Step 2: Use the XML to configure your Identity Provider with PeopleInsight’s SAML application.

Step 3: Upload your Identity Provider's Metadata XML.

Once configured securely upload your Identity Provider’s Metadata XML for our use in configuring the SSO connection.  The person doing the set-up will log into PeopleInsight through the login link that will be sent in a separate email (see Step 1) to do the upload.
 

Step 4: We will confirm that setup was configured via email.

We will email you with a confirmation that PeopleInsight has been configured to accept your Identity Provider. You may then login through your Identity Provider’s sign in portal, or through a PeopleInsight initiated SSO login link we can provide after setup, with the same temporary email/account in Step 1 to confirm that the SSO login is functional.
