Candidate self-scheduling links

How self-scheduling works from the candidate's side.

How self-scheduling works from the candidate's side.

For calendar-availability and slot-based interview events, candidates book their own time through a personal scheduling link rather than waiting for you to arrange it manually.

What the candidate sees

Their scheduling page shows the position, interviewer, duration, and location, followed by a date grid showing the next five days and the time slots available on each. They can also change the displayed timezone if theirs is different from the event's, times are converted automatically so they're never left doing the maths themselves.

Candidates can optionally leave a mobile number, then select Confirm Booking to lock in their slot.

When there's nothing to book

If no slots are available, the candidate sees a clear explanation rather than a dead end, for example that the interviewer hasn't set up their calendar connection, that every slot is already booked, or that there was a problem checking availability. In every case, they're pointed to contact the recruiter directly.

Links that no longer work

A self-scheduling link can be expired, invalid, already used, or cancelled. Each case shows its own explanation to the candidate rather than a generic error, so if a candidate contacts you confused about a link, ask them exactly what message they saw, it usually tells you precisely what's gone wrong.
