Diversity report

Anonymised, aggregated reporting on voluntary declarations.

The Diversity & Inclusion report summarises the voluntary demographic declarations candidates make during the application process. It's restricted to users with diversity reporting permission.

What's covered

Three tabs break the report down:

• Equality & Diversity: gender, ethnicity, and age band breakdowns.
• Disability: disability declarations, along with adjustments requested, adjustments provided, and a fulfilment rate.
• Convictions: conviction declarations, reported under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 as aggregated data only, with no individual identifiers.

Summary cards show total declarations and response rate, along with the current reporting period.

Why some numbers are hidden

To protect individuals from being identifiable in small groups, any figure representing fewer than 5 people is shown as <5 rather than an exact number, and its percentage is hidden too. If hiding one number in a group would let you work out its value by subtracting the others from the total, Recruit hides the next-smallest number in that group as well. This is standard practice for reporting on sensitive personal data, and it means small teams or departments may see fewer breakdowns than larger ones.

Because every declaration is voluntary, this report reflects only candidates who chose to answer, not your full applicant pool.
