Job alerts

Letting candidates hear about new roles automatically.

Letting candidates hear about new roles automatically.

Job alerts let candidates sign up to be emailed automatically whenever a role matching their interests goes live, without needing to check your careers page themselves.

What the candidate sees

On your careers page, candidates can fill in a Get job alerts form with their name and email, along with optional preferences for category, job type, working hours, and location. After submitting, they're asked to check their email and confirm the subscription before alerts start, this double opt-in keeps your list genuine and every alert email includes an unsubscribe link.

How matching works

Whenever a job is published, Recruit automatically compares it against every confirmed subscriber's saved preferences, department, employment type, job time, and location, and emails everyone who matches. A preference a candidate left blank counts as matching anything, so leaving fields empty broadens what they'll hear about.

Viewing your subscribers

From Settings > Careers Page, select View subscribers to see everyone who's signed up, their name, email, subscription status (Confirmed or Pending), and the dates they subscribed and confirmed.

Turning job alerts on or off

Job alerts are controlled by the Job alerts toggle under Careers Page appearance settings. You can also choose which individual fields appear on the sign-up form from the same settings section.
