Managing candidate sources

Keeping track of where your candidates come from.

Keeping track of where your candidates come from.

Candidate sources, LinkedIn, a job board, a referral, and so on, are managed under Settings > Candidate Sources, and feed directly into the Source dropdown you see when adding a candidate.

Managing your source list

Drag sources into the order you want them to appear. For each source, you can:

  • Rename it.
  • Turn it active or inactive using its switch. Inactive sources no longer appear as an option when adding a candidate, but stay on existing candidate records.
  • Delete it, unless it's a built-in System source, marked with a shield badge, which can't be removed.

Adding a new source

Select Add to create a source specific to your organisation, useful if you work with a sourcing channel that isn't covered by Recruit's defaults.

Keeping this list accurate makes your sourcing report far more useful, since it can only tell you as much as the sources your team actually selects consistently.
