Managing the talent pool

Keeping good candidates on file even without an active application.

Keeping good candidates on file even without an active application.

Not every candidate worth keeping has an active application. The Talent Pool is where candidates sit once they're not attached to a job, so you don't lose track of them.

Moving a candidate to the pool

From a candidate's profile, or in bulk from the candidates list, select Move to Pool. You can add a reason, useful context for whoever looks at their record later, before confirming.

Assigning a pooled candidate to a job

When you're ready to bring a candidate back into an active process, select Assign to Job from their profile, or directly from the Talent Pool tab of the candidates list, and choose the job. This re-attaches them with a new application, without needing to recreate their record from scratch.

Where to find pooled candidates

The Talent Pool tab on the candidates list shows everyone currently in this state, along with their source, previous job, the reason they were added, and when. See The candidates list for more on navigating between tabs.
