Release Notes 27/07/2026
Week of 20-27 July 2026
Apply on Indeed
Candidates can now apply to your jobs directly within Indeed, with their details, cover letter, and attachments flowing straight into Recruit. Indeed Apply is switched on by default, and you can opt individual jobs out if you prefer to keep applications on your own careers site.
Bulk-publish jobs to job boards
Added the ability to publish a batch of jobs to your job boards in one action, making it faster to get a large set of vacancies live at once.
Full-page editor for job description templates
Job description templates now open in a full-page rich text editor, matching the experience already used for communication templates. This gives you more room and better formatting control when building templates.
Edit candidate email and postcode
You can now correct a candidate's email address after their record is created, and a new postcode field has been added to candidate details.
Unsaved-change warnings on the application form editor
The application form editor now warns you before you navigate away with unsaved changes, so edits are no longer lost by accident.
Faster Interviews tab
The Interviews tab now loads noticeably faster for organisations with large volumes of interviews, with the list filtering and pagination handled more efficiently.
Cleaner pipeline stage templates
Removed the colour picker and colour differentiation from pipeline stage templates for a simpler, more consistent look.
Accurate job board posting dates
For feed-based job boards, the Posted and Expires dates now reflect when a posting was actually delivered, rather than an estimated date.
Clearer job board status message
Tidied up the wording of the job board "Check Status" confirmation message.
Cover letters in shortlisting (in progress, confirm before publishing)
The shortlisting review window now shows a candidate's cover letter text alongside any uploaded cover letter file.
Confidential redaction now applied to exports
Fixed an issue where exporting a shortlist to CSV or Excel could expose candidate personal information even when confidential redaction was switched on. Exports now respect redaction settings.
Readable global search results
Fixed candidate names being squeezed out or clipped in the global search dropdown when a result matched on several fields. Matched-field labels now sit below the name.
Content blocks on public forms
Text-only content blocks (instructions and guidance) now render correctly to candidates on public application and reference forms.
Indeed job posting fix
Resolved an error that could stop jobs posting to Indeed.
GOV.UK vacancy reference length
Job references sent to GOV.UK / Find a Job are now capped to the length the service accepts, preventing posting failures.
