Managing reusable job templates from Settings.
Job templates save you from rebuilding the same role from nothing every time you hire for it. They're managed under Settings > Job Templates.
Managing your templates
The template list is split into Active and Archived tabs. From here you can:
- Select Create to build a new template.
- Select Use Template on any template to start a new job with it already applied.
- Select Edit to update a template's details.
- Select Archive to retire a template you no longer use, or Restore to bring an archived one back.
Creating a job from a template
Selecting Use Template takes you straight to job creation with that template already chosen, so the job's title, department, location, remote policy, salary, employment type, description, requirements, and benefits are pre-filled. You can still adjust anything before continuing.
You can also start this way from the job creation screen itself, by choosing Use a Template and picking one from the list, each showing how many times it's been used so you can see which templates are actually in regular use.
Job templates vs. job description templates
Job templates cover the whole job, title, salary, pipeline defaults, and so on. If you only want reusable blocks of description text (for example, standard requirements or benefits wording), see Job description templates instead.
