Using the referral program

Generating a shareable referral link for a specific job.

The Referrals page lets employees refer people they know for open roles, and lets recruiters keep track of who's been referred and by whom.

Making a referral

1. Go to Referrals and search for the job you want to refer someone for. Only published jobs can be referred to.
2. Choose your relationship to the person you're referring.
3. Enter their email address.
4. Recruit generates a shareable referral link. Select Copy to grab it and send it on however you like.

Tracking a referral

Each referral you've made shows as a card with a status:

• Active: the link is live and hasn't been used yet.
• Applied: the person has applied using your link.
• Expired: the link's expiry date has passed without an application.

Each card also shows the link's expiry date, so you know how long you have before it stops working.
