Recruit V1 is here. This release builds on everything introduced at launch with a major new addition: a fully integrated onboarding module that takes new hires from offer accepted to day-one ready, all in one place.

What's new in V1

Onboarding

The headline feature of V1 is a complete onboarding experience built directly into Recruit. No more spreadsheets, separate tools, or lost emails. From the moment a candidate accepts an offer, their onboarding journey begins in the same platform your team already uses to hire them.

Templates and workflows

Build reusable onboarding templates with named phases and ordered tasks. Set a company-wide default or assign different templates to different jobs. When a template is assigned to a job, it is deep-cloned as a snapshot, so you can tailor it for that hire without touching the original.

  • Create templates with as many phases and tasks as your process requires
  • Duplicate templates instantly for faster setup
  • Customise phases, tasks, due dates, and dependencies at the job level

Task types

Not all onboarding tasks are the same. V1 supports four task types to cover every step of the process:

Smart dependencies and due dates

Link tasks together so nothing gets done out of order. Dependent tasks stay locked until prerequisites are complete or skipped, and they unlock automatically when the time is right.

Set due dates relative to the onboarding start date. Use negative values to schedule pre-boarding tasks before day one, so new hires arrive prepared.

Forms built in

Create onboarding forms without leaving Recruit. The inline form builder supports text, email, phone, textarea, file upload, date, URL, select, and checkbox fields across multi-page forms. Alternatively, link to an external URL or attach a PDF for upload.

Tracking and visibility

Every onboarding is fully visible to your team:

  • Monitor each new hire's lifecycle: Not Started, Active, Completed, or Cancelled
  • See progress percentages and task-level status at a glance
  • View everything directly from the candidate's profile
  • Every status change is logged with the actor, timestamp, and optional notes for a complete audit trail

Task statuses move through Not Started, In Progress, Pending Review, and Complete. Your team can skip or reset tasks as needed.

Automated completion

When all tasks reach Complete or Skipped, the onboarding lifecycle automatically transitions to Completed. The new hire's portal remains accessible for 30 days after that.

Dashboard visibility

Admin and HR users now see an onboarding widget on their dashboard showing active onboardees, completion counts, and any overdue task alerts.

Reminder cadences

Configure company-level reminder schedules to keep new hires on track. Set reminders for a number of days before a task is due and again after, with automated emails sent on your behalf.

Video interviewing

Run live video interviews directly in Recruit. Share a secure meeting link with candidates, conduct the interview, and capture structured interviewer feedback, all without switching tools.

Time to hire analytics

A new time to hire metric is now available in Reports and Insights, giving you a clearer picture of hiring velocity across your roles and teams.

What comes next

V1 is just the beginning. Here is a look at what is on the horizon.
